Nidderdale Under 13s in Strong Performance

Last Tuesday saw the first football match of the new year as Nidderdale under 13’s travelled to Outwood Ripon.

It was a fantastic match which saw a number of new year 7 faces in the team each of whom played an important role in the game.

Despite going a goal down Nidderdale showed a huge improvement and battled back to take a 2-1 lead into half time thanks to 2 goals from Malachi Headington. However the in the second half legs started to tire and the fresher legs of Outwood to advantage. Although the score ended up 2-5 it was a superb game and one which the lads got a lot out of, plus the opposing teacher commenting on the difference the team has shown in the last 12 months. Great performance moving into the ESFA cup again West Craven High.
