The year 7 Football team are through to the next round of the area cup.

The year 7 football team played against Boroughbridge High School on Wednesday the 18th of January. The game was exciting with end to end football throughout! The final score was a 6-2 victory for Nidderdale but the team needed some stand out performances to come away with the win. The defensive line from Nidderdale were superb looking calm and controlled throughout the game. With keeper Will A gaining in confidence and making a superb save from the penalty spot! Other stand out performance went to the hard working midfield with Brayden B leading the way and some calm finishing from Matthew B to give Nidderdale the well deserved victory. Fingers crossed for a good draw in the next round!!

Year 11s in close draw with Rossett

It’s been a good start to the league campaign for the year 11 football team and the unbeaten start continued on Monday night with a 1-1 draw with Rossett. After going behind in the first half, Jack Mallinson scored a superb chip over the keeper from inside the penalty area. The last 10 mins were end to end and Nidderdale could have snatched it with the last kick of the game being a Nidderdale shot which just went wide.

Man of the match Jack Mallinson (voted for by his team mates)

Well done to the year 8 Netball team who came away with a 5-0 victory against Outwood academy. The year 9 team missed out by 3 goals but a good warm up match before we head to ST. John Fishers next week. Great EFFORT from all our players tonight. Welldone to Amber who was nominated start player by Outwood.
