Manchester Thunder Trip

On Saturday the 27th April, 15 of our netball girls got the chance to watch a professional netball match, Manchesterl Thunder v Team Bath!

As an added bonus several of the England netball squad were playing on both teams, meaning the girls got the opportunity to speak to them, get their autographs and have pictures with them.

I was so impressed with the way the girls represented school and I was proud to listen to the enthusiasm they showed while discussing the game both during and after.

Thank you to all the girls and parents.

U15 Netball Ashville tournament

On Wednesday our year 10 girls took part in the Ashville Netball tournament, where they faced three other schools. They played tremendously in all three matches and were rewarded with a draw against Rossett. I was proud to see the skills and set plays they have worked hard on in practice being used within the games.A massive well done to all the girls who played.Miss Wilcock

Y8 Day of Rugby

Year 8’s travelled to Ilkley yesterday to take part in West Yorkshire’s ‘Day of Rugby’.

A fantastic display by all 13 lads in their 3 games playing against strong teams, the team walked away with 1 win out of 3 games.

Tries from Liam W, Jacob F, Jacob H and Roman S were the highlights of the day with exceptional teamwork on display to get the ball over the line.

The team have made great improvements this year and are already catching up to more experienced teams in the area!
